An Old School Dinner with a little New York Style on 57th
I was in New York For Bridal Fashion week..And Rosa and I were starved!! Were did we go..Brooklyn Diner!!
Its not your typical yuck diner food, instead only the best - classic staples like chicken pot pie ( you have to get there early for those..they run our FAST!!) roast and meat loaf are cooked to perfection as well as scrumptious desserts.
Old-fashioned diner on West 57th Street.
Ab_Cynthi ~Tinni Time!!
OK....found myself at my favorite restaurant about a week ago...and with my favorite Bartender at Ceconnis, we came up with my signature drink. The "Ab-Cynthi"....well because...it has Absinthe (which is now legal in the U.S....and no, you don't halucinate!!! ) and ..my name is Cynthia!!
The Ab-Cynthi Martini
1 1/2 oz of Absinthe
4 oz of Orange Juice
2 dashes of Grenadine
A well sugared Martini glass
Taste: its like a spicy/sweet tequila sunrise...without the tequila!
Challenge: Find your signature drink !!
The Holidays and Snow!!!!
I have not Blogged and I'm Feeling it!!!!
Soooooooooooo... this is the latest "find" in my Closet..thanks to my WONDERFUL boyfriend!!!
Are they me...are they not.... that is the question!!
And the answer is ...OH THEY ARE SOOOO ME!!!
I often fall short of a "beat-around-boot" in the winter...and always resort to my "UGGS" which..lets face are cute and compfy...but not always smart looking!!!
This boot is quiet..deliciously comfortable and are great for pounding the streets of NY (Which Im doing over Holiday Break!!)
So far I have paired these lovies(www.chanel.com) with a pale pink Chloe top and with a vintage tweed jacket..... Now Im ready for the winter weather!!!
